Hospitals are mainly occupied by those at high risk of death from Covid, namely, elderly people who are also sick.Hospitals are also the places where people on the outside are taken if they become seriously ill with Covid. So now you have virus carriers in close proximity with people most endangered by the virus.
Add to that the staff, which will include many 20- to 40-year-olds, i.e., the most socially active demographic that is mainly responsible for the spread of Covid outside of hospital.
Then, in hospital, you have many Covid-infected people, both patients and staff, which creates highly favorable conditions for the virus to infect and kill more of the highly vulnerable: i.e., elderly patients in hospital for treatment of conditions such as heart or respiratory diseases which greatly increase the risk of death from Covid.
Then, to get an even bigger bang for your buck, you move those hospital-infected Covid patients over the age of 65 to care homes, which creates a whole new opportunity for the disease to spread among the sick and very elderly, most of whom will go down like ninepins.
And the vaccine wont save them: as reported from British Columbia, even after vaccination of the majority of staff and patients, Covid outbreaks are occurring in care homes (and here).
Covid, is thus essentially a health-care-facilitated killer.

Overview
- Lethality: According to the latest immunological studies, the overall infection fatality rate (IFR) of covid-19 in the general population is about 0.1% to 0.5% in most countries, which is most closely comparable to the medium influenza pandemics of 1957 and 1968.
- Treatment: For people at high risk or high exposure, early or prophylactic treatment is essential to prevent progression of the disease. According to numerous international studies, early outpatient treatment of covid may reduce hospitalizations and deaths by about 75%.
- Age profile: The median age of covid deaths is over 80 years in most Western countries (but 78 in the US) and about 5% of the deceased had no serious preconditions. The age and risk profile of covid mortality is therefore comparable to normal mortality, but increases it proportionally.

- Excess mortality: In most Western countries, the pandemic increased mortality by 5% to 15% in 2020. Up to 30% of the additional deaths were caused not by covid, but by indirect effects of the pandemic and lockdowns (e.g. fewer treatments of cancer and heart attack patients).
- Antibodies: By the end of 2020, antibody seroprevalence was between 10% and 30% of the population in most Western countries. At seroprevalence levels above 30%, a significant decrease in the infection rate was observed in many regions.

How Lord Sumption, Former Justice of the UK Supreme Court, Gets It Right and Wrong on the UK's Response to Covid-19
In this interview with Freddie Sayers, Lord Sumption, former UK Supreme Court Justice, makes two major points.
First, that enforced lockdown unjustifiably undermines the conventions that have made Britain a free society. Therefore, he urges people to adhere to the tradition of freedom and defy lockdown laws.
Second, he argues that making the possession of a vaccine passport necessary to dining at a restaurant, travelling by bus, rail or air, or entering the supermarket is a reasonable requirement of the state.
On the first point, Sumption is correct, although his encouragement of civil disobedience is not the courageous suggestion one might think, since young people in large numbers have displayed a contempt for lockdowns from the outset.
On the second point Sumption is dead wrong. To make a vaccine passport a necessity for participation in normal social and business life amounts to making vaccination mandatory. That is, he is arguing for laws to make it compulsory to accept an experimental vaccine which has not been thoroughly tested for effectiveness, even, let alone potential harms.
That is an extraordinarily totalitarian position to take, especially when it is realized that the novel RNA so-called vaccines are known to have limited effectiveness, but potentially disastrous negative effects.
Concerning potential negative consequences, it should be noted that:
1. Inoculation with RNA “vaccines” induce production of antibodies to the Covid-19 spike protein, which is a short-lived response that will provide immunity to illness from Covid infection for perhaps as little as only three to six months — meaning that repeated RNA inoculation will be necessary to maintain effectiveness.
2. Unlike vaccines previously developed, RNA “vaccines” do not activate immune responses, e.g., a T-cell response, that prevent Covid infection. That is why Anthony Fauci has acknowledged that Covid RNA “vaccines”, while preventing disease manifestation, may not prevent disease transmission. That means that the RNA “vaccines” may make one an asymptomatic, but infectious, carrier of the virus.
3. Because the RNA “vaccines” have not undergone long-term testing, it is unknown what long-term adverse effects they may have. Potential adverse long term effects are, however, far from inconceivable: Antibody-Dependent-Enhancement (of viral infectivity and disease severity) anyone? Or maybe you'd care to risk a touch of prion disease, the thing you get from eating mad cows or the brains of kuru-afflicted humans.
These risks may be low, but a small risk of a world-wide health catastrophe amounts to a serious matter. So no, Lord Sumption, you can stuff your vaccine passport.

I have to say, I continue to see a divergence in what the elites clearly wanted to happen vs. what has actually happened. If the Event 201 pandemic war game on a coronavirus outbreak, held two months before the actual outbreak occurred in China, is any indication, then the globalists greatly overestimated the fear effect of Covid.
They predicted at least 65 million deaths from a coronavirus outbreak, but over a year has passed since the pandemic went international and the official death count stands at 2.5 million, with over 40% of deaths in the US attributed to nursing home patients that were ALREADY dying from preexisting conditions. Removing suspect nursing home deaths from the equation, the death count is probably closer to 1.5 million, again, if we adhere to official estimates.
To put this number in perspective, the CDC states that global deaths from the flu virus peak at around 649,000 depending on the year. Deaths from the flu and pneumonia reach as high as 1.4 million globally per year. Studies funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation find annual pneumonia death stats that are comparable to the CDC’s. Yet, we never saw Bill Gates calling for economic lockdowns, mask mandates and medical passports because of the flu or pneumonia. Why is that?

All Together, Now: Everyone Hate Putin, Hate Russia

Why is he bad-mouthing their “pet project” Globalization and trash-talking their “Great Reset”? Does he really think these corporate mandarins and “silver spoon” elites are going to listen to what he has to say or does he realize that they’re just going to hate him more than ever? Why is he doing this?
Here’s what’s going on: At the end of January, Putin was given the opportunity to address the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland (online). The WEF is a prestigious assembly of political leaders, corporatists and billionaire elites many of who are directly involved in the massive global restructuring project that is currently underway behind the smokescreen of the Covid-19 pandemic. Powerful members of the WEF decided that the Coronavirus presented the perfect opportunity to implement their dystopian strategy which includes a hasty transition to green energy, A.I., robotics, transhumanism, universal vaccination and a comprehensive surveillance matrix that detects the location and activities of every human being on the planet. The proponents of this universal police state breezily refer to it as “The Great Reset” which is the latest make-over of the more familiar, “New World Order”. There’s not a hairsbreadth difference between the Reset and one-world government which has preoccupied billionaire activists for more than a century. This is the group to which Putin made the following remarks:
“I would like to speak in more detail about the main challenges ..the international community is facing…. The first one is socioeconomic….. Starting from 1980, global per capita GDP has doubled in terms of real purchasing power parity. This is definitely a positive indicator. Globalisation and domestic growth have led to strong growth in developing countries and lifted over a billion people out of poverty….Still, the main question… is what was the nature of this global growth and who benefitted from it most…..
… developing countries benefitted a lot from the growing demand for their traditional and even new products. However, this integration into the global economy has resulted in more than just new jobs or greater export earnings. It also had its social costs, including a significant gap in individual incomes…. According to the World Bank, 3.6 million people subsisted on incomes of under $5.50 per day in the United States in 2000, but in 2016 this number grew to 5.6 million people....
Meanwhile, globalisation led to a significant increase in the revenue of large multinational, primarily US and European, companies…In terms of corporate profits, who got hold of the revenue? The answer is clear: one percent of the population.
And what has happened in the lives of other people? In the past 30 years, in a number of developed countries, the real incomes of over half of the citizens have been stagnating, not growing. Meanwhile, the cost of education and healthcare services has gone up. Do you know by how much? Three times…
In other words, millions of people even in wealthy countries have stopped hoping for an increase of their incomes. In the meantime, they are faced with the problem of how to keep themselves and their parents healthy and how to provide their children with a decent education….
These imbalances in global socioeconomic development are a direct result of the policy pursued in the 1980s, which was often vulgar or dogmatic. This policy rested on the so-called Washington Consensus with its unwritten rules, when the priority was given to the economic growth based on a private debt in conditions of deregulation and low taxes on the wealthy and the corporations….
As I have already mentioned, the coronavirus pandemic has only exacerbated these problems. In the last year, the global economy sustained its biggest decline since WWII. By July, the labour market had lost almost 500 million jobs…. In the first nine months of the past year alone, the losses of earnings amounted to $3.5 trillion. Is the Vaccine More Deadly Than the Virus?

A front-page article appeared in the FranceSoir newspaper about findings on the Nakim website regarding what some experts are calling "the high mortality caused by the vaccine."
The paper interviews Aix-Marseille University Faculty of Medicine Emerging Infectious and Tropical Diseases Unit's Dr. Hervé Seligmann and engineer Haim Yativ about their research and data analysis. They claim that Pfizer's shot causes "mortality hundreds of times greater in young people compared to mortality from coronavirus without the vaccine, and dozens of times more in the elderly, when the documented mortality from coronavirus is in the vicinity of the vaccine dose, thus adding greater mortality from heart attack, stroke, etc."
Dr Hervé Seligmann works at the Emerging Infectious and Tropical Diseases Research Unit, Faculty of Medicine, Aix-Marseille University, Marseille, France. He is of Israeli-Luxembourg nationality. He has a B. Sc. In Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and has written over 100 scientific publications.
FranceSoir writes that they follow publications, data analyzes, and feedback from various countries on vaccination, and have therefore taken an interest in the Nakim article, asking to interview them in order to understand their analysis and its limitations.The authors of the article declare they have no conflicts or interests other than having children in Israel.
After a presentation, the authors discussed their data analysis, the validations carried out, limitations, and above all, their conclusions that they compare with data received via a Health Ministry Freedom of Information Act request.
Their findings are:
- There is a mismatch between the data published by the authorities and the reality on the ground.
- They have three sources of information, besides the emails and adverse event reports they receive through the Internet. These three sources are Israeli news site Ynet, the Israeli Health Ministry database, and the U.S. federal Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) database.
- In January 2021, there were 3,000 records of vaccine adverse events, including 2,900 for mRNA vaccines.
- Compared to other years, mortality is 40 times higher.
- On February 11, a Ynet article presented data related to vaccination. The authors of the Nakim article claim to have debunked this analysis based on data published by Ynet itself: “We took the data by looking at mortality during the vaccination period, which spans 5 weeks. By analyzing these data, we arrived at startling figures that attribute significant mortality to the vaccine."
- The authors say “vaccinations have caused more deaths than the coronavirus would have caused during the same period."
- Haim Yativ and Dr. Seligmann declare that for them, "this is a new Holocaust," in face of Israeli authority pressure to vaccinate citizens.
They also invite specialists to complete their analyses, and intend to pursue legal follow-up to their discovery. The Health Ministry was not available for comment on a FranceSoir query regarding the findings.
The authors also deplored "the fact of not being able to communicate on this vital information" to their fellow citizens.
On their site, Nakim writes: "On February 11, 2021, Ynet (the most known Israeli News website) published a confused and confusing article entitled 'Vaccination efficiency data in Israel, and its rapid effects on the young'.
"Our reanalyses of these data explain why during the massive vaccination project initiated mid-December 2020 during a confinement, daily new confirmed COVID-19 cases failed to decrease as they do during confinements, and, more importantly, why numbers of serious, critical, and death cases increased during that period that covered at least one month. From mid-December to mid-February (two months), 2,337 among all Israeli 5,351 official COVID-deaths occurred. Our analyses indicate orders of magnitude increases in deaths rates during the 5-week long vaccination process, as compared to the unvaccinated and those after completing the vaccination process. Presumably, asymptomatic cases before vaccination, and those infected shortly after the 1st dose, tend to develop graver symptoms than those unvaccinated.
"The Ynet article is organized in an exciting way and uses data provided in an erroneous way by the Ministry of Health. It is unclear whether this was intentional to prove the vaccine's efficiency or if this was done erroneously because the provided data were misunderstood. Note that in Israel, all vaccines are from Pfizer.
"The data in the table, rather than indicating the vaccine efficacy, indicate the vaccine's adverse effects," the authors conclude.

Is This the Beginning of the End of the Covid Disaster or Is It Only the End of the Beginning
This is seriously bad news. The report from Manaus of a surging rate of Covid reinfection means, first, that the virus is mutating so rapid that immunity, whether acquired through infection or vaccination, is extremely short-lived; and second, that any T-cell response* to infection is failing to provide immunity to reinfection by some new strains of the virus.
It is also the case that the wave of reinfections in Brazil, could be evidence of antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE), meaning that antibodies produced in response to vaccination may facilitate infection by, and enhance the virulence of, novel strains of the virus.
If a pessimistic interpretation of the report from Brazil is correct, the Covid disaster is only now beginning to take shape. What we could then expect is:
Not an end to quarantine for international travelers, but an end to international travel.
Not an end to pub and restaurant closures, but an end to pubs and restaurants.
Not an end to work from home, but an end to most work.
Not an end to home schooling, but an end to schools.

America: A Nation Living With Lies
Yusef, commenting on an earlier post, pointed out that if reported US Covid-19 deaths relative to population were similar to the numbers reported for the rest of the world:
"we would have 4% of the covid-related deaths. Instead we have 20%, or 5X what we "should" have"
But I see no reason to believe the US stats.
The US has clearly superseded the Soviet Union as the world's biggest liar.
The US doesn't merely lie about important things such as the reasons for "bombing the shit out of" this or that country (to use President Trump's idiom), but about almost everything.
Like the dying Soviet Union, the US teaches lies in its schools and universities.
Indeed, lies are the only essential part of the US educational curriculum, hence America's continuing decline in the ratio of educational attainment per dollar expended, which must be about the lowest in the world.
Americans, like the citizens of Russia in the days of the Soviet Union are living with lies.
Lies about almost everything. From Black lives matter, meaning all white people are racists who deny that black lives matter, to a seemingly endless list of mind-numbing bullshit from micro-aggressions to triggering, pussy hats, cultural appropriation, and the demand for less whiteness, aka European cultural and racial genocide.
Which means that Americans get more lies and sheer nonsense for their educational dollar than anyone else. As the inevitable result, Americans have the lowest rate of academic achievement per dollar invested than any other country in the world, although the Brits are right up there along with the people of Canada where, to quote a national newspaper headline, Universities have become cesspools of political correctness.
What to do?
Well obviously when you are in the throws of a Communist takeover your chances of doing anything to counter the menace other than hurt yourself are slight. But here's how to make a start in transforming "education" from a process of Communist indoctrination to a process of productive learning.
Enact legislation that:
Embodies in education the old English principle that "Sticks and stone may break my bones but words can never hurt me;"
Makes academic achievement the driving principle of education at all levels;
Pays teachers according to student achievement, and pays the best teachers more than the top educational bureaucrats.
But nothing of the kind, obviously, will be done.
We are all doomed. Doomed to live under the increasingly tyrannical rule of fools and scoundrels.

Among experts, support for these measures is largely limited to those with financial links with pharmaceutical corporations. Is it safe to assume that compromised public health bureaucracies with links to pharmaceutical corporations know more and are more trustworthy than independent experts?

DID YOU KNOW YOUR RISK OF DEATH FROM COVID-19 IS HIGHLY DEPENDENT ON YOR AGE? IN PARTICULAR, FOR THOSE UNDER 30, THE RISK IS ONE IN THOUSANDS, FOR THOSE UNDER 50, THE RISK STILL AVERAGES ONE IN THOUSANDS. ONLY FOR THE OVER 60'S DOES THE RISK EXCEED ONE PERCENT.
Governmental sources are remarkable cagey about providing clear information on this vital fact. Why? Surely, so the public does not challenge the lunacy of shutting schools and businesses.
For greater clarity on the age effect, here are statistics from the Province of Ontario Canada showing the estimated Province-wide Covid-19 infection fatality rate by age until May 19, 2020.
What the data show is that:
Among children nine years of age or younger the estimated risk of death from Covid-19 is 0.002%, or one in 50,000.
For other age groups the estimated Infection Fatality Rates (IFR) are:

But those numbers are based on reported cases, which totaled only 0.25% of the population. The actual number of cases will certainly have been greater than the number of reported cases and probably many times greater. Moreover, it is reasonable to suppose that cases proving fatal were more likely to have come to the attention of the Medical authorities than non-fatal cases. It is certain, therefore, that the actual infection fatality rates were lower, and probably much lower, than those indicated above.

The Moral Insanity of the Politically Correct
The New York Times column the New York Times didn’t want anyone to read
Last weekend, New York Times columnist Bret Stephens wrote a piece criticizing the rationale behind the forced ouster of Times reporter Donald G. McNeil Jr., but it was never published. Stephens told colleagues the column was killed by publisher A.G. Sulzberger. Since then, the piece has circulated among Times staffers and others — and it was from one of them, not Stephens himself, that The Post obtained it. We publish his spiked column here in full.
Every serious moral philosophy, every decent legal system and every ethical organization cares deeply about intention.
It is the difference between murder and manslaughter. It is an aggravating or extenuating factor in judicial settings. It is a cardinal consideration in pardons (or at least it was until Donald Trump got in on the act). It’s an elementary aspect of parenting, friendship, courtship and marriage.
A hallmark of injustice is indifference to intention. Most of what is cruel, intolerant, stupid and misjudged in life stems from that indifference. Read accounts about life in repressive societies — I’d recommend Vaclav Havel’s “Power of the Powerless” and Nien Cheng’s “Life and Death in Shanghai” — and what strikes you first is how deeply the regimes care about outward conformity, and how little for personal intention.

The Crooks, Imbeciles and Shysters Behind the Scamdemic

American Institute for Economic Research, February9, 2020: People of the future will look back at these 11 months and be very confused. How could virtually the entire world have thrown out settled practices of civil, economic, and cultural liberties for a virus that resisted every attempt to control it?
This virus is not Ebola and it has come nowhere near approaching the death rates associated with H1N1 of 1918. By some measures, it’s not been as deadly as 1957-58, a virus that came and went without much public attention at all. New pathogens are part of life, and there was and is nothing particularly unusual about this one.
The enduring question now and for many years to come will be: why? We all asked the question a thousand times, and it has been asked of us the same number of times. It is too early to say, and the answer will likely be similar to other epic events in history such as the Great War or the Fall of Rome.
