Yesterday, someone, apparently an Islamic terrorist, deliberately drove a truck through a crowd in Nice, France, killing at least eighty people and severely injuring hundreds more.
How does the French state react to opponents of the Islamization of France? By calling them "the Far Right," or the "extreme right."
Patrick Calvar, the head of the General Directorate for Internal Security (DGSI) – France's equivalent of MI5 – said growing tensions between "the extreme right and the Muslim world" were close to breaking point, and that a confrontation between the two appeared inevitable.
Even when a majority of people, as in Austria for example, vote for a Presidential candidate opposed to mass Islamic immigration, they are called "the Far Right".
To be "Far Right" is to be an extremist or even a Nazi, which is to say someone verging on being a terrorist, which is to say a hater, and therefore a person to be targeted with officially sanctioned hatred.

Fred Reed has an excellent article at Unz.com, which sets out with unflinching realism how nearly everyone will be made permanently redundant by the processes of automation, computerization, and robotization.
By implication, the article makes clear why the New York Times employs Paul Krugman: to ensure that no one understands how rapidly we are approaching economic Armageddon.
But Fred makes the mistake, which no good journalist should, of answering the question he raises; namely, how’s it all gonna end?
Many young people hoping to buy a home of their own, and older folks with money they hope to save for retirement, have to decide their course of action in a world of debt-driven asset price inflation enabled by central bank interest rate policies that have driven bond and bank deposit yields to near zero or beyond.
If that world remains unchanged, the best investment strategy is to assume as much debt as possible and buy real estate or stocks. From China to Peru (see graph), this is what many people are doing.
But that strategy raises the key question: what will cause the asset price bubble to “pop”? And when?
I made an investment the other day in the Mainstream Media, and I use the term "investment" advisedly. I bought a day-old copy of the Sunday Telegraph, which the clerk rang up at "ten dollars and 24 cents." Wow, I'd been thinking about two bucks fifty, which tells you how rarely I buy a newspaper.
But the investment, as it turned out was worth it. First, I got to find out something about Caroline Aherne, a British entertainer of Irish extraction who died last week at the age of 52, and who, to quote the Telegraph, "bestrode Nineties television like a colossus."
Turns out she invented a comedy series for TV-watching morons all about a family of TV-watching morons, the patriarch of which family spoke endlessly of "my arse." Given that Aherne is said to have had an IQ of 176, a level matched by no more than about one person in five million, the level of her accomplishments in the cultural sphere suggests that something has gone seriously wrong with British civilization. Which is not to deny that Caroline Aherne was genuinely funny (the joke in that clip is in the very last line), but her work, compared with that of say Shakespeare, seems disappointingly limited in range.
But what I learned from the Telegraph that was truly amazing was in the Business section, where the lead story was headed: Britain hit by Brexit negotiator crisis. "The Government," the story begins, "may have to look as far afield as India and America to find the legion of negotiators it needs for post-Brexit trade talks ..." Then under the heading "Bank of England hires legion of advisers to prepare for looming economic challenges" the Telegraph reports that the B of E "has hired more than 300 new staff as it beefed up teams including its economic forecasting unit and its bank monitoring squads in the lead up to the Brexit vote," thus raising the bank's staff to almost four thousand.
Liberal-lefties love to dub their opponents "haters." The truth is, though, that no one hates like a liberal-leftie in defeat. And the UK's yes-for-Brexit vote has set of a firestorm of liberal-leftie hate speech against
Naturally, the leaders of the Brexit campaign were branded liars.
Nigel Farage, resigned as UK Independence Party leader, saying he wanted his life back following death threats and threats of rape made against his daughter. Naturally, no charges against those making these threats have been laid by the authorities.
So angry and hate-filled are the anti-Brexiteers that immediately after losing the referendum they held a Fuck Brexit rally.
The reason people voted for Brexit, said rally organizer Billie Porter, was that "people were asked to make a decision they weren’t equipped to make". Presumably only those for the abolition of Britain's sovereign, democratic nation state were qualified to decide, while the rest were, well, fat, white, racist, poorly educated, etc., etc.,

So angry and hate-filled, in fact, are the anti-Brexiteers that they want to deny the vote to old people, who are apparently, by definition stupid racists, especially if fat and white, and who, in any case, are going to die soon, thank God, and so should not be allowed to influence in any way the future of the country.
I suppose handing over the future of the country to the younger generation wouldn't be so bad if the younger generation were not such pathetically brainwashed, politically correct, poorly educated, ill-mannered, foul-mouthed, bullying, ignoramuses.
As it is, the only hope, really, would be to raise the voting age to about 41, or maybe 51.
There would be nothing undemocratic about that. Although the right to vote would be delayed until the age of maturity, on attaining the vote, a citizen could assert their democratic right in the knowledge that their judgement would not be nullified by the vote of someone with the intellectual authority of a fudge sundae.
Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic issued a joint statement “The genuine concerns of our citizens need to be better reflected. National parliaments have to be heard.“
Poland’s deputy prime minister Mateusz Morawieck said “The British voice was the voice of reason.”
Curiously, folks in Europe seem to be fed-up with PC shysters and vote fixers of the Globalist, liberal left, telling them they must hand over their country, their government and their right to lead life according to their own traditions and religious faith to hoards of insensitive alien settlers who express contempt for the European people and their way of life, and indeed who declare their intention to conquer Europe and eliminate its people altogether "not by the sword, but by the womb."
After many years of repression and submission, the people are showing some inclination to push-back, feeble though that effort may as yet seem. Brexit was one manifestation of this, and has succeeded in freeing Britain from domination by the Euro Commies and Kalergists under whom Britain has been inundated by million of immigrants now accounting for the majority of the population in London, Leicester, Luton, Slough and soon, in England's second city, Birmingham.
Now, outrageously, in a blatant expression of racism, xenophobia and religious bigotry, the Swiss have splendidly asserted the need for immigrants to assimilate to the Swiss way of life, rather than demanding the Swiss assimilate to the strange ways of alien life.
As for the Austrians, they seem to be giving the Kalergist vote fixers a hard time having just overturned the result of the corrupt Presidential election. However, it must be noted that despite a court ruling that the result of the election was marked by "serious vote fraud", no one has yet gone to gaol.

As Uncle Nasty, over at the Irish Savant, notes the Brexit vote was not a victory. Rather, "Victory is when Harman, Cameron and their ilk are staring down at the cheering crowds — from a scaffold."
Britain was lied into the Common Market by Ted Heath, who said that the then Common Market was, well, a common market, when in fact it was an anti-democratic, US-controlled, bureaucratic, Fascist state.
But the British elite never objected to the EU taking the blame for unpopular measures such as allowing mass population replacement immigration, which they themselves supported and profited by.
Virtually every vote for Brexit was a vote to end mass immigration to Britain. And already the treasonous elite that controlled both sides of the referendum campaign are making it clear that any idea of an end to the influx is a complete non starter.
Undoubtedly the key issue in the minds of most of those voting for Brexit is the immigrant flood.
Having taken back control of their own destiny, it is time for the Brits to take back majority ethnic London.
London voted more than 75% for Remain, confirming the divergence of interest between the indigenous people of the crowded British Isles and the mass of immigrants that make up a majority of the population not only of London, but of Leicester, Luton, Slough many other urban centers throughout the UK, and soon, England's second city, Birmingham.
But how can the immigrant tide be reversed?
An offer of ten thousand pounds to every immigrant who returns home would surely motivate many. And it would have particular appeal to those in gaol, for whom it would mean immediate release, and those with multiple wives and many children, for whom the payoff would be substantial indeed. In addition, the obligation to pay earned state pension benefits would, of course, be honored.
Illegal immigrants though not entitled to the full package, should also be helped on their way with a generous package of travel and resettlement aid.
And the offer to legal immigrants could be sweetened by the inclusion of some kind of honorary UK citizenship which would provide certain privileges, e.g., post-secondary education, but not permanent residence, in the UK.
The cost of paying immigrants to go home would be considerable but manageable. In fact the offer might be upped to twenty or twenty five thousand pounds.
By way of illustration, the cost, at ten thousand per head, assuming that half the eight million ethnic residents of Britain accepted the offer, would amount to forty billion pounds, or 5% of the UK government's annual revenue..
The benefit of such a repatriation program to the British people, as measured in increased wages, lowered housing costs, and reduced tax expenditure on infrastructure necessitated by the post-2000 immigrant flood would far exceed the cost.
In addition would be the benefit of remaining master of one's own home, free to take pride in ones glorious culture unmodified and unconstrained by the demands of polygamists, voodooists, genital mutilators, and those who reject the British legal tradition, and the British tradition of free speech, unconstrained by political correctness.
How can "minority babies" outnumber the "whites among US infants", i.e., all the rest?
If white infants are outnumbered, then they are the minority "among US infants" and those who outnumber them must be the majority.
But even when reporting the reproductive eclipse of the European population, the non-whites, in PC America, must be granted the privileged status of being referred to as "the minority," i.e., people deserving a privileged status due to the oppression they must be suffering at the hands of those presumptively racist white people now being trashed by their own government.
An honest headline would have been:
"White babies in American outnumbered by non-white," but then that makes it rather too clear what the Obama/Clinton plan for white people in America really is.

The idea is not new. In fact, pneumatic tube systems were a standard feature in many department stores prior to WW2. A sales clerk placed the customer's itemized bill plus their cash in a capsule that was fired upstairs or downstairs as the case might be to the accounting office, where the bill would be checked, change made and returned via the same pneumatic system. Here's a modern version of it:
Musk's proposal is simply to scale the thing up (not much) and shoot people down evacuated tubes at hypersonic speed.
But why? In the age of telepresence via Skype, etc., who needs to be shot down a tube from San Francisco to Los Angeles? Who needs or would want to go to Los Angeles by any means? There is obviously no need, or any sensible demand for such a system, which offers travel under appalling conditions with the risk of being turned into spam should the thing hit the buffers.
The result of applying technology to travel was, until the early post-war era, generally beneficent. The Pullman car beat a horse drawn wagon or stage coach hugely, in comfort, safety and speed. Lulled by the clickety-clack of iron wheels over unwelded rails, the railway passenger could snooze, wool-gather, or quietly work the Times crossword puzzle as the countryside slid by wreathed in puffs of smoke and steam from the work of mechanical art hauling the train.

The steam powered passenger liner vastly exceeded in speed, reliability, safety and comfort the sailing clipper, while in the air, Britain's Imperial Airways used double-decker Empire flying boats to carry passengers in sophisticated luxury from Southampton Water to the Cape, via Cairo, Luxor, Khartoum, Port Bell, and Victoria Falls — in a mere four and half days.
Sadly, today, travel is reverting to the vast discomforts and dangers of the distant past. If Musk has his way, railways are to be replaced by windowless drainpipes, in which passengers will travel in a recumbent posture in a capsule so small that they are unable to raise their heads, let alone use a washroom. Passenger liners have already been replaced by gigantic floating holiday camps replete with casinos, massage parlors, movie palaces, bars, nightclubs and the opportunity to eat oneself to death, while passenger aircraft are designed like Japanese subway trains to accommodate the maximum number in the minimum of comfort.
But the Russians, at least, aren't sold on the drain train. Instead, they plan on building a 70-kilometer tube track for the transport of goods, which is very sensible. In fact, moving inanimate stuff is what the pneumatic tube system was originally designed for and all it is good for.
What would be clever, though no billionaire has seen fit to do it, is devise plans for reconstruction of cities to allow people to live close to where they work, shop and find rest and recreation, thereby eliminating the need for most travel. Admittedly redeveloping urban settlements would be more expensive than building Musk’s Shotgun Shuttle. But we are in dire need of economic stimulus, and in the long run, the payoff in time and energy saved by abolishing the daily commute would be enormous.
Here, at the Daily Bell, Putin's comment that Cameron called the Brexit referendum to blackmail the EU is examined and plausibly explained. In brief, the Daily Bell suggests, Cameron threatened the EU with Brexit unless the EU made certain concessions to the City of London's financial interests. Those concessions having been made behind closed doors, Cameron's job now is to ensure the failure of the Brexit campaign.
