Is Ukraine Losing the War or Has the Russian Invasion Stalled?

A report from Zero Hedge states that the Ukraine army is suffering 100 to 200 casualties a day in the war with Russia, and are running out of ammo.

"Everything now depends on what [the west] gives us," Ukraine's deputy head of military intelligence, Vadym Skibitsky told The Guardian.

"Ukraine has one artillery piece to 10 to 15 Russian artillery pieces. Our western partners have given us about 10% of what they have."

So after receiving $53 billion in mainly US aid, amounting apparently to about 10% of the weapons the NATO states possess, Ukraine wants, um, well, according to Skibitsky,  the other 90% "of what they (NATO) have," which seems unduly hopeful.

What if Russia decided, in the face of a disarmed NATO, to reincorporate Finland, Poland and the Baltic states, while taking in Sweden too?

Ukraine should have thought more carefully about what they needed before poking the bear.

But there is still the matter of the $53 billion in mainly US aide that Ukraine has already received or been promised. What happened to that? Have the Ukrainian oligarchs already flogged it off at, say, a 90% discount, to Third World dictators?

Or is that huge infusion of weapons along with German and Polish training for the Ukrainian forces, -- the equivalent to more than one year of Russian defence expenditure (or approximately ten times Canada projected 2022 defence expenditure, including the cost of sending big guns to Ukraine) a game changer as Scott Ritter contends:

Kremlin Responds After Polish EU Official Says West Should Give Ukraine Nukes
Yes of course Europe's dumbest, people like Liz Truss, Bojo the Greased Piglet, and the blond bombshell, Ursula Van der Leyen, can set off a nuclear war if they feel like it.

But don't forget what these incredibly stupid people are proposing: it is to enable Zelensky to nuke Russians because they seek to end the relentless murder of Russian-speakers in Donbas who don't want to be ruled by people in Kiev who think it acceptable to refer to them as orcs and cockroaches.

And apparently, the idea that people should be free to choose how they are ruled is now held in contempt across Western Europe, except of course when Scotland bids for another independence referendum, then the Russian haters will be all for it.

Gonzalo Lira Series series #37 : How Odessa Might Be Captured
Ukraine, as many skeptics including myself, warned is just a proxy vehicle to attack Russia. It has served its purpose. The Europeans have committed economic suicide by refusing Russian oil and gas. They are now totally dependent on America for energy. NATO has been invigorated and American dominance over European foreign policy must now be approaching 1950/marshall plan levels. Sanctions are supposed to weaken Russia although the collateral damage to the world economy continues to increase. American arms manufacturers are rubbing their hands over the forthcoming European orders and American oil producers are doing likewise. So what’s not to like?

  1. Vaccine coverage began with the elderly due to the priority of treating this most at risk age group.

We can identify the date when vaccines began being administered to each group.

Seniors older than 65 were the first group to receive Covid19 vaccination. They started receiving shots in the latter part of January, 2021.

For the age group 5-10, vaccination commenced November 2021.

From the table you reported in your post "Covid Vaccination to Promote the Spread" there were two columns. One showed Infection per 100,000 vaccinated and the other for unvaccinated.

I've added the two columns, vaccinated and unvaccinated, to get a total of all infection, per 100,000.

    Total Covid infections <18: 3,328
    Total Covid infections 18-29: 1,077
    Total Covid infections 30-39: 1,708
    Total Covid infections 40-49: 2,504
    Total Covid infections 50-59: 1,604
    Total Covid infections 60-69: 1,051
    Total Covid infections 70-79: 805
    Total Covid infections >79: 711.

This data is from the latter part of October,2021, before vaccination of what could be about half of the under 18 group. (Maybe. I'm guessing. It will be a considerable percentage, though.)

There are 4.68 times more total infections in the under 18 group than in the over 79 group. (It is easier by far to control transmission in the eldest group. That's not the point, though. What we're getting at is whether the vaccine spreads disease or simply fails to prevent transmission.)

You could interpret this data to say the two age groups most at risk are under 18 and 40-49, but I wouldn't do that. Would you?

There's quite a bit going on "under the hood" for this data. I don't think I would use it to illustrate your point, CS. To my mind it is highly significant we see so many cases of the vaccinated becoming infected. From age 30 upwards, there are more infections in the vaccinated than in the unvaccinated. I'm reading the full report right now, to see what it has to say about this. To me, what it means is that the vaccine is not more effective in preventing infection than not being vaccinated. But it doesn't mean the vaccine is promoting the spread, (except maybe in that being vaccinated has given people a false sense of security, as Dr. Moore had ventured.)

  2. Following our discussion of Canspeccy's exclusion from Google Search, my usage stats show more than fifty hits from google-admin.corp.google.com.

Now, I see this, my most recent post, appears in the Google search:

Is Ukraine Losing the War or Has the Russian Invasion Stalled?

    LOL

  3. But a google search for the post immediately prior that that one, entitled:

"Norwegians Must Be Really Stupid People"

still yields no result from a Google search.

Why's that do you think. Is the Google Board of Directors all Norwegians? Seems like it.

    Is that pathetic, or what?

  4. Will get back, to your comment about Covid in due course, that's if I survive what seems like a nasty bout of what my wife who is treating me like a leper assumes to be Covid. However, I'm suspicious. It actually seems more like flu, although Covid is supposed to have banished flu from the face of the Earth.

    1. Best wishes for a speedy recovery, CS. I can use the time to try to get some clarity about what's going on. I have been mulling over whether the only problem was using the word "spread". I bet they have some algorithm to tag the combination "vaccine" and "spread". If you'd said "doesn't prevent transmission" I am curious if you would have cleared the block. It is true, though, "doesn't prevent transmission" and "spreads the disease" are not equivalent concepts.

I have been following your comments on it, but this fellow takes the prize for "spinning no longer will work" and it made my day. Had to share.

True, the results are only USA so Justin Bieber's facial paralysis might still be the result of too much practice in the shower. But I think it was the vax.
