First, let's be clear what this "vaccine" is.
The "vaccines" currently being dispensed do not induce full-spectrum, lifelong immunity. They merely induce the production of antibodies to the SARS2 (aka Covid19) spike protein. This they do by inducing the cells of the vaccinated person to produce the SARS2 spike protein. The foreign protein thus produced, activates the immune system to produce SARS2-specific neutralizing antibodies—neutralizing, in this context, meaning protecting from infection, as opposed to merely resisting the consequences of infection.
The down side is that the antibodies thus produced soon fade away. Thus the immunity of the "vaccinated" individual is transient, lasting no more than a year. What the vaccine does not do is induce robust and durable (probably, life-long) T-Cell immunity.
So who needs the untested Covid19, aka SARS2, "vaccine".
No one who has already had the virus, certainly. Such people will already have undergone a full-spectrum immune response including the production of short-lived neutralizing antibodies and long-lived SARS2-recognizing T-Cells.
And how many people is that?
In October last year, the WHO estimated that it was one in ten of the World's population, or 767 million people. So the number today must be well in excess of a billion, maybe two billion, or one person in four.
And among the uninfected, there is absolutely no justification for "vaccinating" children. SARS2 is less dangerous to children than the seasonal flu and probably much less dangerous than the experimental "vaccines" themselves.
54 children in the Land of the Free have died from COVID (according to CDC data through April 28). Given that there have been roughly 4 million confirmed COVID cases among children, this implies a survival rate of 99.999%. For kids, even the Chicken Pox is more fatal, not to mention a variety of other common illnesses ranging from the flu to strep throat. Yet the world never closed schools due to the chicken pox. Curiously, his grace, Lord Protector Anthony Fauci, noted back in 2009 during the Swine Flu epidemic that “we have already 76 children dying from the 2009 H1N1 virus, and it’s only the beginning of October.” Yet his eminence did not demand schools close. And the CDC specifically recommended NOT closing schools. (Fauci also stated then, “you can’t isolate yourself from the rest of the world for the whole flu season. . .”) Then there’s the Holy See of the World Health Organization, of whom no one is worthy to question. Yet the WHO says that “diarrhea kills around 525,000 children under five” every year. Yet did anyone ever close the schools to prevent the spread of the diarrhea-causing rotavirus? |
If infected, children are rarely symptomatic and, like asymptomatic adults, they do not spread the disease. However, as a result of infection, children get full spectrum SARS2 immunity, including long-lasting T-Cell immunity from infection.
"Vaccinating" children is thus a very bad idea. Indeed, vaccinating children seems like a criminal enterprise. It denies the child the chance of gaining the most robust and durable possible immunity from future SARS2 infection, instead condemning them to annual if not twice yearly "vaccine" jabs plus the risk of an adverse "vaccine" reaction, including possible death.
"Vaccination", which is promoted as a means to achieving "herd immunity," is in fact a means of preventing attainment of herd immunity, which condemning billions of people to needless and costly annual or more frequent "vaccinations," which in themselves constitutes a significant risk to health.
Among adults under the age of 65, SARS2 is rarely fatal. Furthermore, those most at risk are in the great majority of cases clearly identifiable. They include the overweight and the obese. Thus of Americans admitted to hospital with SARS2, 78% were overweight or obese.
Other risk factors include diabetes, which is often associated with obesity, and diseases of the heart and lungs, including bronchitis, emphysema and asthma. For most adults, therefore, the case for "vaccination" is weak or non-existent. Infection, often asymptomatic, entails little risk and provides the benefit of long-term future immunity.
Moreover, according to a British Medical Journal article by associate editor Peter Doshi, it is likely that around one third of adults have pre-existing immunity to SARS2 as the result of previous infection with a corona virus, such as strains causing the common cold.
For the over 65's, the main factor elevating the risk of death from SARS2 is age, or more specifically, a decline in heart and lung capacity. As physical activity declines, heart and lung capacity declines also. As a consequence, the additional strain on heart and lungs due to any infection, including SARS2, that clogs the lungs and airways with mucus is likely to overwhelm the system and result in death. That being the case, one of two things may save an elderly person in the event of exposure to SARS2: one is preexistent T-Cell immunity, which may approach 50% of the population among the old; the other is the experimental "vaccine."

ReplyDeleteThis is abundantly clear from the research animal studies. Now we're seeing it confirmed in humans. Yet I doubt many people appreciate the full implications of it.
Again, I have the suspicion the need for annual or biannual "vaccination" is to the advantage of the pharmaceutical industry and those heavily invested therein.
I was surprised to see Joe Biden decided to waive patent protection for the makers of the vaccine, which is contrary to my suspicion, above.
Back about twenty or thirty years ago, I attempted to use my background to invest in R&D, including medical, biomedical, and pharmaceutical R&D. (It turned out my background counted for nothing.) What I learned, though, was the R&D companies attempting to abide by the FDA's expensive and lengthy testing protocols tended to be punished. Some drugs which hadn't gone through any systematic testing AT ALL won in the market place and made their way into the practice of medicine. (An example of this was the treatment for wet, or age-related macular degeneration. The anti-angiogenic drugs which won out-- and they involve the M.D. making a direct injection into the eye--started being used without any research confirmation this treatment worked. Or worked best.) Even twenty or thirty years ago, the public's institutions designed to protect their interests had weakened. We're so very vulnerable in so many varied ways. People make a lot of assumptions about their safety and security which are likely unfounded in reality. This seems worth commenting on now.
Penalties for the sale and illegal promotion of dangerous drugs seem to be simply a cost of business for big pharma. Hence Vioxx, OxyContin, and now "vaccines."

ReplyDeleteYes I can, and it worries me as I have not been "vaccinated" and have no intention of being if only because (a) I believe I have had Covid, and therefore must have robust and durable immunity, and (b) because although approaching the end of the journey to the grave, I am fit enough to have what I am prepared to bet is a better than fair chance of surviving Covid should I have it in the next year or so, whether that be for the first or second time.
DeleteI had hoped to deal with difficulties arising from the lack of a "vaccine" passport by seeking proof of T-cell immunity. The US FDA has approved a Covid T-cell immunity test (called T-Detect), which has been developed by Adaptive Technologies of Seattle, WA. However, when last I contacted them, they said there was no way for someone in Canada to take the test. I hope that changes or that a more readily available test soon emerges.

ReplyDeleteSomething very similar has been true for the banks, financial service companies, and brokerages.
They commit crimes and get what are basically slaps on the wrist for it. No one does time, and the fines and so forth are a fraction of what has been raked in. Enron and Arthur Anderson were no exception, either.
It is a weird game. We know our politicians are bought and beholden to their purchasers. We don't like the idea of public financing of campaigns via taxation because we hate taxation and the very concept of public financing. Therefore, unless some other alternative to the weird game gets dreamed up by some genius, we're stuck.
These financial crimes are infinitely more harmful than some dumb punk stealing potato chips off a convenience store shelf. (If he's black, he might face the death penalty for it, especially if he's cocky.) The consequences are distributed in a most remarkable way. The perps get their slap on the wrist, but the real victims-- the public at large-- feel this or that consequence only very lightly because the consequence is spread out so broadly over all of them. Until the cumulative threshold is reached, which is now, it is as if nothing is happening.
It most certainly has not helped matters most people simply aren't interested in politics-- on any level.

I went to the AAAS Science Translational Medicine site to which you recently linked as we discussed mRNA uptake and spike protein expression.
ReplyDeleteI read the material carefully, and in fact I am reading it again today.
What interested me most was the comment-section response to author Derek Lowe saying his wife told him she wished the human "vaccine" doses contained luciferase as did the "vaccines" administered to test animals. (Luciferase is a luminescent which allows the uptake of the mRNA and spike protein to be observed by researchers.) Mrs. Lowe said she wished that because she'd like to be able to see the glow of the luciferase and know the vaccine was working.
It was a stupid thing to say, but all Mr. Lowe said in response to it was he was glad it didn't because if luciferase was in the injections that would give ammunition to the loony conspiracy theorists who criticize the "vaccine" and concoct crazy stories.
Then in the comments section, of all the things said in the article, this single stupid exchange occupied virtually all of the comments from January 21st to March 14th. On March 14th, a commenter named Dianne MacKay asked the great question,
"So how or will scientists study the long term effects of the mRNA vaccines?"
After that, the conversation picked up a little bit, perhaps.

The LNP/mRNA like any foreign body that finds its way inside us is shuttled to the lymphoid system which is composed of dendritic cells and a few others which present the spike protein to T cells and B cells through an intermediary CD4 T cell (this is a VERY simplistic draft of what happens). From various prior animal models a small percent of (LNP/molecule of choice) after IM injection make there way into the systemic circulation with uptake primarily in liver and spleen, other tissues can be involved at a lesser extent. On the initial shots there is not enough immune response developed yet to target other non immune cells exhibiting the spike protein. There is theoretical possibility that after boosters, when the body has cytotoxic memory T cells primed and waiting for spike protein to be exhibited, the booster vaccine that escapes to say a liver cell could possibly lead to those cells destruction. I have been actively perusing all the relevant literature and have not found any useful data at this time. I came to this board hoping a bright immunobiologist might shed some light on this topic."
There are other gems in the discussion following Dianne MacKay's gem. We're not so very alone as I sometimes think. Others are asking the very same questions. (There is also some evidence AAAS censors such questions to some degree. Oh well.)

By preventing infection by what, for most people, is little worse than a severe cold, the "vaccine" is preventing the development of genuine, long-lived, Covid herd immunity.

I believe that raising the standard of revolt could be a winning strategy for opposition parties worldwide. Britain's labor party, for instance, a party without evident purpose or credibility would, I believe, snap back with a vengeance if they adopted a firm anti-vax-passport platform. For that they need a new leader. I'd chose Lisa Nandy, likable, intelligent, and representing a sound, Old Labour constituency.

They may have a certain level of competence within a narrow area of what is already a specialty, infectious diseases, and they may have acquired this by memorizing lots of facts and then practicing memorized procedures for years, but beyond that, they are worse than useless. They are buffoons. I no longer have respect for them, even as doggedly determined enough to slog through years of post-post secondary education and training. Had to get that off my chest.
