US Presidential Election Update

A Message From President Trump:
Irish Savant: So that's it then
StationGossip:
“I know your pain. I know you’re hurt. We had an election that was stolen from us. It was a landslide election and everyone knows it, especially the other side. But you have to go home now. We have to have peace. We have to have law and order. We have to respect our great people in law and order. We don’t want anybody hurt. It’s a very tough period of time. There’s never been a time like this where such a thing happened where they could take it away from all of us–from me, from you, from our country. This was a fraudulent election, but we can’t play into the hands of these people. We have to have peace. So go home. We love you. You’re very special. You’ve seen what happens. You see they way others are treated that are so bad and so evil. I know how you feel. But go home. And go home in peace.”
Both Facebook and Twitter DELETED the President’s call for peace.

  1. Trump may never concede the election or congratulate Biden-Harris for "winning" but he will leave the White House and allow an "orderly" transition.

The bottom line is it is over for him. I'm a little worried for Trump and his family. They've clamored for his head for four years now. There have been many calls for his imprisonment.

He's leaving any official political power behind him, while at the same time America is leaving rule of laws and its Constitutional Republic. It is such a potentially dangerous situation for us all, but especially for Trump.

They want vengeance and they are playing hard ball. Trump never has, apparently. Even if he was controlled opposition, it's not going to save him. I guess we'll see in twelve or thirteen days. They won't wait a long time to come after him if that is what they are going to do.

    1. Trump's life-long immersion in business has imbued him with a live and let live ethic. In a free market economy, the competition cannot be eliminated, but must be lived with.

In politics, however, achieving and maintaining a monopoly over the instruments of power is the primary objective of all contestants. Hence, the destruction of rivals is the natural obsession of those in, or seeking, power.

Trump reached the top of the greasy pole but failed to destroy those who would destroy him. He even tried, it seems, to cultivate some of them. Unless, therefore, he now makes haste to quit the scene, he will surely suffer for his lack of the killer instinct.

  2. They were so unrelenting in wanting to hurt Trump. From election night 2016 to right now, they have acted deranged in their hatred of him.

I personally do not believe Trump had anything to lose or gain after election night. You'll note even in his statement urging peace he was depicted as fomenting riots.

He has generally been reasonable while nearly uniformly being accused of being crazy. There's never been anything like it. Richard Nixon didn't even get this treatment.

He was in the casino business, for one. He had to be familiar with brutality. It is possible he was used as a front and kept in the dark, but I believe he's too intelligent and perceptive to have actually been in the dark about what goes on.

My money is on him being dismembered the moment he leaves power.

    1. I wouldn't worry too much about Trump. Anyone who can see half a dozen of his businesses go bankrupt and then run for president is essentially irrepressible. The fact that the Dems are so vindictive toward Trump indicates how much they still fear him. My bet is he will turn the high profile he has gained through public office to make big money with TrumpTalk, a social media network, or TrumpNews Network or some such thing and maybe several such things at the same time.
