This is absolutely appalling. Many Israelis are expressing such sentiments. Their intention couldn't be more clear. They believe it is the will of God they slaughter the people in Gaza. It is the will of God this land was given to them and them alone.
The USA is willing to be rebuffed by Nentanyahu, too. The USA will express its humanitarian concerns and be content it has done what it could.
I have no idea what the Muslim world is going to do. It is not impossible they will stand down, but it is also not impossible they'll flatten Israel with nuclear attack. I don't think anything between these two extremes exists. The two groups are opposed in what is the will of God and that's a situation leading to extremists being extreme one way or the other.
I don't think that Netenyahu believes in "the will of God." Rather, he is the leader of a gang of thieves, who have settled in Palestine declaring it to be the Jewish homeland and hence a place where the indigenous popualation can rightfully be exterminated.
