And a perfunctory survey seems to confirm that much of the blogsphere takes this to be the critical question. Thus, for example, Michael Snyder at the End of the American Dream writes:
Did Jeffrey Epstein commit suicide or was he murdered? This is a question that is being debated by millions of Americans right now. ... |
Or this from the normally astute James Howard Kunstler:
Did Jeffrey Epstein commit suicide or was he murdered? ... |
Jeffrey Epstein leaving gaol: dead or just resting — under the
influence of a paralysing drug, perhaps? Image source. |
In 2008, when charged with trafficking minors for sex, Epstein's lawyers negotiated a sweetheart plea agreement with US Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Alexander Acosta. Acosta has since explained that he settled for the deal because he had been warned that Epstein "belonged to intelligence."
So now we are to believe that "intelligence" left Epstein to kill himself or be murdered in a maximum security gaol?
Suuuure. Or could Jeff, even now, be discussing a facial makeover with a plastic surgeon prior to a new life in Paraguay, perhaps, or maybe Israel?
