PSS. Note to Google: You say, "Tip Try using words that might appear on the page that you’re looking for," but I gave you the whole frigging title of the piece that was published on your Blogger platform, yet you still couldn't find it. How dumb is that?

  1. Thanks for providing a new link for Northern Truthseeker. The link I had bookmarked no longer works. If Canada has become as much of a police state as his last post indicates, I don't see how a free election can happen.

    1. I don't think people like Chris Saccoccia (aka Chris Sky) help in combating the Covid authoritarians. Rather I would say such a person, making death threats against the police, or so it is alleged, would serve well as an agent of the Covid authoritarians whose purpose is to convince the timid, fearful and obedient majority of the irrationality of those opposed to the current political regime.

      Better, I think to continue the effort to promote understanding of the reality, namely, that:

      Covid is a minimal risk to most of the population;

      The vulnerable portion of the population is identifiable and can be protected;

      There are effective treatments for Covid that can be administered to those at risk of severe disease or death;

      And last but not least, we are already approaching herd immunity due to mainly asymptomatic spread of the disease, meaning that the epidemic is coming rapidly to a natural end.

      Meantime, we have a chance in this Federal election to vote out the crooks and morons responsible for colossal, wasteful, and socially damaging response to the epidemic.

      Let's not distract the attention of the public from understanding reality by promoting violent extremists.

  2. Another problem with the election is that the PPC, which has no seats, and is polling at about 3%, is the only opposition party not aligned with the Liberals on this issue. The Conservatives seem even worse than the NDP.

    However, I agree its important to at least get Trudeau out. The best or lease bad realistic result would be a CPC minority, where the Liberals would have to team up with both the NDP and the Bloc to stay in power, which would be difficult to pull off. However, I would vote PPC unless there was a close contest between the Liberal candidate and one or two of the other major party candidates in my particular riding.

  3. At least the Conservatives are not demanding mandatory vaccination of public servants (which according to this lawyer meets the definition of medical assault), so in that respect they are preferable to the Liberals.

    But I agree, Bernier is an attractive personality with good ideas. The Conservatives were idiotic to let him go. Unfortunately, if his People's Party do well -- some polls put them at over 6% -- they could sink the Tories. Hopefully, Bernier will win in Beauce and play a role in a Coalition government.

  4. But given Trudeau's betrayal of Canadians and Canadian allies in Afghanistan, his tyrannical position on vaccination -- including the encouragement of the provinces to implement vaccine passports, his resort to crass insults of the opposition, there seems a good chance the Liberals are about to go into meltdown.
