Debunking Trudeau's Lies About the Truckers' Convoy

Cosmin Dzsurdzsa

True North May 17, 2021:
Several key pieces of testimony have poked holes in Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s justification for using the Emergencies Act to quash peaceful freedom convoy protestors in February.

Throughout the protests, the Liberals and legacy media made a number of claims about the convoy ranging from extremist involvement, foreign funding and millionaires bankrolling the movement. To date, all of these claims have been called into question by law enforcement officials and fundraising executives.

Several Trudeau cabinet ministers claimed in February that foreign extremists were funding the convoy to undermine Canada’s democracy. Among these ministers was public safety minister Marco Mendicino who stated – without evidence – that many of the donations had “been raised from abroad.” Minister of emergency preparedness Bill Blair also claimed that “foreign entities” were behind the protests.

Media outlets including the Toronto Star and the CBC also published articles falsely suggesting that the convoy was foreign-funded. The CBC was forced to retract a story that claimed that support for the convoy had come mainly from abroad.

Liberal MP Taleeb Noormohamed also compared the convoy donations to “terrorist financing” and called on terrorist-funding watchdogs to investigate fundraising platforms.

True North has listed nine instances where officials have categorically disputed the Liberal government’s claims about the Freedom Convoy.

Globe and Mail Touts Bullshit Medical Journal Article Blaming the Unvaccinated for Covid Infection of the Vaccinated

Anyone familiar with the scientific literature knows that that most published research findings are false (and here). So when the media push a claim to scientific fact bearing on a highly contentious political issue, consider the evidence before accepting the claim.

In relation to the Toronto Globe and Mail's headline of April 24 claiming that the Unvaccinated increase risk of infection for others: study skepticism is certainly warranted because, so far as it relates to Covid-19, the claim is untrue.

The article begins:

People who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19 contribute disproportionately to the risk of infection among those who have been vaccinated, according to a new study ...

Oh yes?

Who says?

Who says is J. Fishman et al., in an article in the current issue of the Canadian Medical Association Journal entitled:

Impact of population mixing between vaccinated and unvaccinated subpopulations on infectious disease dynamics: implications for SARS-CoV-2 transmission

Trouble is, the paper reports what is a purely mathematical exercise, based on no real world data whatsoever. That this is a problem becomes evident if one considers the real world data that would be needed to confirm the authors' conclusions.

In particular, data would be necessary to show at least one of the following things:

(1) That unvaccinated persons have a higher Covid-19 infection rate than the vaccinated;

(2) That unvaccinated persons infected with Covid-19 are more infectious that the vaccinated; or

(3) In their interaction with others, unvaccinated persons are in some way more social, promiscuous or more careless of the risk of infection than the vaccinated.

Proposition (1) we know to be false. The weekly Covid Surveillance Reports compiled by the UK Health Security Agency have shown consistently over many months that overall, and  except in the youngest age classes, the vaccinated have a Covid-19 case rate several times that of the unvaccinated (see Table 13 on Page 44).

Proposition (2) is refuted by the July 30, 2021: Statement by CDC Director, Rochelle P. Walensky, MD

...Delta infection resulted in similarly high SARS-CoV-2 viral loads in vaccinated and unvaccinated people. High viral loads suggest an increased risk of transmission and raised concern that, unlike with other variants, vaccinated people infected with Delta can transmit the virus. ...

Which is to say, vaccinated persons can pass Covid-19 just as readily as the unvaccinated.

Proposition (3) is obviously false. It is the vaccinated who, believing, correctly or otherwise, that they are immune from serious harm from Covid-19, are most likely to eat out, attend a party at No. 10 Downing St. during a national lockdown, or whatever, whereas the unvaccinated, knowing themselves to be among the most vulnerable to severe Covid-19 illness, act with greater circumspection.

So, yes, Fishman et al., from their base at Canada's top research university, have published a nonsense paper that has made a nonsense of the Canadian Medical Association Journal, while showing the Toronto Gobe and Mail to be the publication of elite correct thought that we have always supposed it to be.

But why this particular lie?

Let the reader decide. But one thing's for sure, that headline in the Globule sure helps cover wannabe dictator, Justin Trudeau's arse over his irrational and tyrannical vaccine mandates and his Hitlerian diatribe of hate directed at Freedom Rally supporters.

A Video To Finish Trudeau?

A speech so incredibly dishonest.

So wonderfully stupid.

Such a blatant case of hate speech.

So brilliantly debunked.

And its worth noting the remarks of that highly articulate African from Québec. His view is consistent with the finding of a Leger poll that, among more than 2000 recent immigrants to Canada, 30 percent expect to leave the country within two years.

Why?

The most commonly stated reason: "the current leadership."

Yet Trudeau's preposterous lies went over big when he repeated them in the European Parliament:

Time for someone to launch an action against Trudeau for hate speech. Conviction plus a few months in jail might curb his insouciant, indeed Hitlerian, lying.

Canada's exit rules are now as tyrannical as those of the former Soviet Union. That is why Canada's Prime Ministerial Dictator, Justin Trudeau, waged war against participants in the Truckers' peaceful Ottawa protest, equating parking offenses with an attempt to overthrow the state. No questioning or criticism of Our Great Leader is tolerated.

But Canadians are mostly a foolish lot. They call themselves liberals, so it is inconceivable to them that their Liberal government is capable of behaving as viciously as any far right extremist government headed by an absolute dictator. In fact that is what it is doing right now. Let's Go Trudeau.

Covid Hoaxsters, No. 79: UK's National Health Service Boss and Liar-in-Chief, Amanda Prichard

Amanda Pritchard, the head of NHS England, recently made the following claim:
"There is no doubt that the NHS is running hot and there are some very real pressures on health and social care. We have had 14 times the number of people in hospital with COVID-19 than we saw this time last year."
Needless to say, this was faithfully reported by various media outlets. For instance, ITV News ran a story on it headlined: “Hospital Covid admissions 14 times higher than this time in 2020.”

There was only one problem: it isn’t true. The number of COVID-19 patients currently in English hospitals is 7,510 according to the Government’s Coronavirus Dashboard, whereas the number in November 2020 was over 11,000.

But for even more shocking proof of official Covid lies, see this:

The Lies That Vaxxers Tell

1. We're all in this together.

We are certainly not all in this  together if that means we are equally at risk from Covid. As the following graphs show, there is a 5,000-fold difference in risk of death from Covid between the newly born and the nearly dead.

figure1

Image source: Nature, November 2020Age-specific mortality and immunity patterns of SARS-CoV-2)

2. By spreading the virus, the unvaccinated are a mortal threat the all those around them.

It's true that the unvaccinated spread the virus, but that's no argument for vaccination.

Those at greatest risk of infection from the unvaccinated are the unvaccinated, who have no reason to complain of the risk to which they are exposed by other unvaccinated persons.

True, the unvaccinated may infect the vaccinated, but we have it from Dr. Rochelle Walensky, Director of the US Center for Disease Control that the vaccinated can have: "similarly high SARS-CoV-2 viral loads" to unvaccinated people. What that means is that there is no difference in risk of infection posed by the vaccinated versus the unvaccinated.

3. And if the vaccinated can get and spread the virus, tell us again, what was the point of the vaccine?

Oh, yes, it was to reduce disease severity.

But is that a reason for mandatory treatment with an untested vaccine that has already killed tens of thousands, caused adverse reactions in millions, and may cause serious long term harm to health and human fertility?

4. And, did you say, everyone must be vaccinated because potentially severe Covid in the unvaxxed creates a burden on medical services.

But don't we pay for medical services directly or through taxation? What's wrong with calling on those services if we get sick for whatever reason?

Are mountain biking and sky-diving to be prohibited because someone could break a leg and need hospital treatment?

Is eating to the point of obesity, the consumption of alcohol, or the smoking of tobacco or hemp to be made illegal because such activities increase the risk of a multitude of diseases needing medical treatment?

In any case, aren't the vaccinated, confident of their immunity to severe illness, more likely to catch and spread the disease than the unvaccinated who know the virus could kill them?

And isn't the elevated social confidence of the vaccinated the reason there is always a spike in Covid cases following a major vaccination drive -- and if that's not the reason, people need to find out what exactly is in the vax before they agree to getting the shot?

5. Until everyone is vaccinated hospital intensive care units are at risk of being overloaded.

That was the scare story a year ago, but was it true? Take the Canadian Province of British Columbia: with a population of five million, hospitals there have a total of only 206 intensive care beds, yet throughout the Covid epidemic there have always been ICU beds available.

Furthermore, since the Government of Canada has used Covid as justification for adding to the national debt an amount equal to one third of Canada's annual GDP, it could certainly have provided an abundance of cash for a few dozen extra ICU beds in British Columbia and elsewhere had they been needed.

6. Everyone must be vaxxed even if they've already had Covid.

This is complete nonsense. Natural immunity from past infection is vastly superior to whatever benefit there may be from the spike protein mRNA injection.

The main effect of the toxic spike-protein-generating vax is to induce production of some short-lived anti-spike protein antibodies.

Natural immunity, however, arms your memory T-cells with a record of the entire Covid viral genome. Thus the T-cells of someone with natural immunity will recognize the virus, whatever the variant, and activate every other branch of the immune system to deal with the infection promptly before mass virus multiplication and illness occurs. The evidence from experience with SARS-COV1 indicates that such immunity will last many years if not for life.

The only conclusion to draw from the above is that our rulers are either hysterics acting mindlessly, or there is a hidden agenda behind the world-wide mass vax campaign.

What could such an agenda be?

Big Pharma profits? Global depopulation? Vax passports as a prelude to a full Chinese-Communist-style form of social credit? Something else?

Time now to challenge the idiotic Covid narrative spewed by the Governments of Justin Trudeau, Boris Johnson, Sleepy Joe Biden, and the rest of the untrustworthy holders of high office world-wide.

And if you're a Canadian voter opposed to vax passports, vax mandates, and vax lies don't be fooled by the morons at the National (Com)Post telling you that a vote for the People's Party is a vote for Trudeau.

If you don't vote for the party offering what you want, what exactly do you expect from a government formed by a party offering what you don't want?

Lies and Insults Reflect Justin Trudeau's Wiley E. Coyote Election Moment

"Erin O’Toole is so bad he makes Doug Ford look good," said Justin Trudeau yesterday, thus insulting not only his main opponent in the election he called for no stated reason two years earlier than necessary, but also the man the people of Ontario only recently elected as their Premier.

Insults are a perennial and potentially effective ingredient of political discourse, but they work only when they're either funny or in some way illuminating to those who may be inclined to back your side. For example, Winston Churchill's remark during an election contest that his opponent, Clement Atlee, "is a modest man with much to be modest about." But Trudeau's ill-humored comment is revealing not only of a low IQ, bully boy mentality, but of a man who's lost his cool.

Liberal campaign video featuring O’Toole labeled by Twitter as ‘manipulated media,’ was released on Sunday by Trudeau's deputy Prime Minister, Chrystia Freeland. And in Twitter-speak, ‘manipulated media,’  is what ordinary folk understand to be a lie.

Unlike Trudeau, Freeland is no dope. That she's been caught in a lie confirms that the Liberals are desperate, spooked no doubt by polls showing them now neck and neck with the PC's after starting the race with a ten point lead.

Bravo. The sooner we're shot of these inept and untrustworthy megalomaniacs the better.

The Covid Lies That Pave the Way to Totalitarian Dictatorship

In the video below, the formidably articulate Dr. Michael Yeadon, former Pfizer Vice President and Chief Science Officer, explains why he is convinced that the Covid "pandemic" is a scamdemic designed to bring about global depopulation.

Whether he is correct in his apocalyptic belief concerning the motivation of those seeking to terrorize the population with fear of a virus less lethal to to the vast majority than the flu remains to be seen. To me, fear, ignorance and stupidity seems an adequate explanation.

But his contention that the "fear-the-virus" Covid narrative that has been relentlessly promoted by governments, news media and social media companies worldwide is based on false premises (lies Yeadon calls them) is compelling.

Also compelling is his explanation of the silence of the scientists in the face of a barrage of publicly proclaimed government and media false information about Covid.

The reason for the silence of academic scientists who know that Covid represents a minor peril to the vast majority of the population is, he says, simple. It is that there are virtually no independent scientists. Scientists in academia, who might be thought to have an independent voice are, Yeadon points out, almost entirely dependent for research funding on government or corporate donors. And what that means is that future funding depends on not attacking the Covid narrative that those funding sources are vigorously promoting.

The charge of subservience of academics in the biomedical field to big Pharma, i.e., the vaccine makers is surely no slander. Even in the 1980's, when I was appointed, from outside academia, to a tenure track position at Canada's top research university, it became clear to me, within three days, that my research was to be entirely subservient to the interests one of Canada's great resource industries.

At that point I did what many in the same situation would not. I quit.

Among the key points that Yeadon's talk drives home are:

Covid is less lethal than the flu to the great majority of those under the age of 70, and much less so for children, the chief exception being the obese, i.e., those who can readily self-identify and take appropriate precautions.

There are plenty of effective treatments for Covid that could greatly reduce the number of cases that end up in hospital, but which the medical profession has thus far failed to effectively promote. These include vitamin D and zinc supplements, corticosteroid inhalants, and the cheap non-prescription drug ivermectin.

Covid cases and deaths have been greatly exaggerated by use of the grotesquely unreliable PCR test.

Antibody production induced by Covid "vaccines" provide only short-lived and minimal protection from infection, whereas actual infection induces both durable and robust full-spectrum immunity, which means that requiring "vaccination" of those who have recovered from a Covid infection amounts to medical abuse.

It is also a medical abuse to vaccinate children who are at much greater risk of harm from the "vaccine" than from Covid, but who may be denied the benefit of long-term, quite possibly life-long, full-spectrum Covid immunity through an infection that will almost certainly be asymptomatic. (Actually, Yeadon does not make this point, although I am pretty certain he would not disagree with it.)

For all those millions who have had Covid, the Covid scariant variants are a non-issue: their immune system will recognize and defeat them all.

The Covid terror campaign is designed to allow implementation of vaccination passports, which will serve as a mechanism for enforcing endless completely untested "vaccine" booster shots with unknown properties and consequences.

Moreover, vaccination passports will provide a means to create an Orwellian world of surveillance and control, resulting in a permanent end to human freedom.

Covid-19 and the Corruption of Science, State Directed Medical Terror, and Media Censorship

By Eshani M. King

Dear Editor

The British Medical Journal, November 13, 2020 (Reproduced without permission): Congratulations on your editorial highlighting the depressing levels of “corruption” taking place in the name of “beating the pandemic”. Scrutiny certainly deserves to be directed towards conflicts of interest within members of SAGE and scientific/medical advisors as examined by Dr Zoe Harcombe PhD, a Cambridge mathematics/economics graduate[1,2]. Aided by mainstream media and censorship by tech giants, this group controls the scientific narrative on which Government action has been based, even when the “science” relied upon is at complete odds with the views of many other world-class scientists.

Suppression of science and lack of open debate has impinged enormously on three issues of fundamental significance. Firstly, public fear of Covid has been elevated to levels that are completely out of proportion to the actual danger. A recent peer-reviewed paper by one of the world’s most cited and respected scientist, Professor John Ioannidis of Stanford University, quotes an infection fatality rate (IFR) for Covid of 0.00-0.57% (0.05% for under 70s), far lower than originally feared and no different to severe flu [3]. This paper is published on WHO’s own Bulletin but ignored by UK mainstream media.

Secondly, although deaths are currently running at normal levels, fear is being driven by inflation of Covid “cases” caused by inappropriate use of the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test [4-7]. This test is hypersensitive and highly susceptible to contamination, particularly when not processed with utmost rigour by properly trained staff. Case inflation also occurs from use of excessive number of rounds of amplification cycles (termed CT) which amplifies non-infectious viral fragments and cross-reacting nucleotides from non-Covid coronaviruses/other respiratory viruses. These become mis-labelled as Covid. Even Dr Fauci confirms that a positive result using CT above 34 is invalid (Twitter thread, Jeff Nelson @vegsource 30 October 2020) but in the UK CTs may go up to 45, as confirmed by Professor Carl Heneghan of Oxford University’s Center for Evidence-Based Medicine: (House of Commons Science & Tech Committee, 17 Sep, 2020 YouTube.) An obvious improvement is to immediately halt any use of CTs above 34 and ensure that for CTs between 25 and 34, two consecutive positive results are required before confirming a case as Covid positive.

According to Professor Brookes, a Health Data Scientist from the University of Leicester, the UK’s official data shows no excess deaths due to respiratory infections this season (talkRadio, 'The number of people dying today is the same as it would be any other year', 17 November 2020 YouTube). Instead, excess total deaths have been driven by lack of treatment due to hospital closure/lockdowns and have occurred mostly at home. Whilst there is no question that the first wave of Covid, a then novel virus, was lethal to many, there is no sound evidence of any second wave.

The third and possibly the most consequential suppression of science relates to the narrative that people do not develop immunity following a Covid infection. We know that immunity to SARS-CoV-1 is very durable, persisting for at least 12-17 years [8-10]. Immunologists know that immunity to SARS-Cov-2 is no different. This is confirmed by many eminent scientists including Beda M Stadler, the former Director of the Institute for Immunology at the University of Bern and Professor Emeritus (Ivor Cummins, Ep91 Emeritus Professor of Immunology...Reveals Crucial Viral Immunity Reality, 28 July 2020, YouTube), and Sucharit Bhakdi, former Chair of Medical Microbiology at the University of Mainz [11]. The human population has encountered and co-existed with myriad coronaviruses throughout evolution. Most of us therefore have cross-reacting T-cells, B cells and antibodies derived from encounters with cold coronaviruses that can recognise SARS-CoV-2 [12-14], in the same way that people “immunised” with cowpox became less susceptible to serious illness from smallpox - as Edward Jenner discovered in 1796. This is why we do not generally die from cold coronaviruses and precisely why so many of us were not susceptible to falling severely ill from Covid earlier this year. Even the chance of passing Covid to your spouse at the height of the pandemic was as low as 17%! [15 ].

In line with expectations, mediators of robust long-term immune memory, memory B and T-cells have both been firmly established to be produced following even a mild a Covid infection [17,18]. Pouncing on a handful of examples of apparent second Covid infections is irresponsible of the media but suits the false [18] narrative that falling antibody levels lead to loss of immunity. The evidence that immunity lasts is all around us - if this were not so we would see as many people dying of and falling seriously ill with Covid now as we did in March/April, including doctors and nurses.

Pfizer’s vaccination trial data provides further confirmation of the now low rates of prevalence. 94 participants were apparently infected based on PCR positive results (of unknown CT so we cannot be sure they are all genuinely Covid). The placebo group must comprise around 22,000, half the total trial number. This yields an infection rate of, at the very most, 0.4% and makes the chances of escaping infection greater than 99.6% during the trial period. The vaccine might well be 90% “effective” - although we are yet to learn exactly how this is measured - but the risk of contracting Covid in the first place is self-evidently low. The risk of both contracting and dying from Covid using an IFR of 0.57 (the worst case) was a mere 0.002% based on pessimistic assumptions. Of course, the elderly and other high-risk categories face greater risk, but it is still far less than it was early this year and it will continue to reduce as population immunity builds further.

Hijacking of science by vested interests has resulted in immeasurable harms to society. Lockdowns, meant to save lives but being pushed by narratives that have little basis in science, have themselves caused loss of life, livelihoods, dignity, and humanity. We need to ask how we have got to this sorry state. It seems that only the extrication of science from industry by introduction of independent sources of funding for scientific research institutions, perhaps by levying a brand-new tax on industry, will allow the nation’s best scientists an independent voice and put an end to the suppression of good science, together with the mistrust and conflict it generates.

Meantime, Google censors pandemic science that fails to support the terror narrative. Thus for example a search for the Youtube video by Professor Sucharit Bhakdi, M.D. explaining the evidence of almost universal pre-existent immunity to Covid-19 yields the message:
This video has been removed for violating youtube's community guidelines.
This followed by a link inviting one to "Learn more," which prompted the person to whom I had sent the video link to remark:
I love the irony of exhorting me to learn more while preventing me from doing so.

A Cabinet Colleague's Assessment of UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson: the Most Accomplished Liar in Public Life

From the Times Literary Supplementa review of Tom Bower's The Gambler

Lord of misrule

Boris Johnson: an amoral figure for a bleak, coarse culture

... Johnson is after all the most accomplished liar in public life – perhaps the best liar ever to serve as prime minister. Some of this may have been a natural talent – but a lifetime of practice and study has allowed him to uncover new possibilities which go well beyond all the classifications of dishonesty attempted by classical theorists like St Augustine. He has mastered the use of error, omission, exaggeration, diminution, equivocation and flat denial. He has perfected casuistry, circumlocution, false equivalence and false analogy. He is equally adept at the ironic jest, the fib and the grand lie; the weasel word and the half-truth; the hyperbolic lie, the obvious lie, and the bullshit lie – which may inadvertently be true.

Covid Lies to Keep You Terrorized

Absent strong public health measures, we would expect it to kill something like 0.5% to 1.0% of a nation’s population, and whether or not that’s a large number is a matter of personal opinion.

So declared Ron Unz, publisher of the Unz Review

That claim is far from the truth as the case of Sweden demonstrates. There, in the absence of "strong public health measures" there have been 5,846 reported Covid deaths, or about 0.06% of the population. That must be close to the final toll, as Covid deaths in Sweden peaked in March and are now at or close to zero.

Why would a scientifically literate person such as Ron Unz make such a false claim? Mere confusion, perhaps*.

One way in which Covid death rates have been greatly exaggerated has been to confuse, deliberately or otherwise, two measures of the death rate; namely, the "Case Fatality Rate" and the  "Infection Fatality Rate."

The Covid19 Case Fatality Rate (CFR) is a measure of deaths among confirmed Covid19 cases, the latter being mainly cases of serious illness, which thus came to the attention of the medical profession and were identified as due to Covid19 by a more or less reliable diagnostic methods.

The Covid19 Infection Fatality Rate (IFR) is a measure of deaths among all those infected with Covid19, whether they were seriously ill or not, or whether they were ill at all. The IFR can only be determined if there is population-wide testing for past or present Covid19 infection, for example by means of a reliable serological test for Covid19 antibodies.

Evidence currently available suggests that the the IFR is only about one tenth of the CFR. Therefore, to mistake the CFR for the IFR will result in an exaggeration of the actual IFR by a factor of around ten.

But even a ten-fold error does not explain Ron Unz's claim that "absent strong public health measures" Covid19 will "kill something like 0.5% to 1.0% of a nation’s population." To explain that, assuming it is not a straight lie, one must assume that Ron Unz confuses the Infection Fatality Rate with the Population Fatality Rate (PFR). Such confusion assumes a Covid death rate among the population as a whole equal to the Covid death rate among those made sick by a confirmed Covid19 infection, which is nonsense.

But perhaps Ron Unz's claim is a straight lie, which would be consistent with the fact that, when I pointed out the error on his Unz Review post, my comment was deleted.

The Death of the West: The Four Horsemen of America's Apocalypse

By Dennis Prager

Real Clear Politics, June 2020:

It takes a lot to build a civilization, and though it is much easier to destroy a civilization, it takes a lot to do that, too.

But now we have four roots of evil that are guaranteed to do so.

No. 1: Victimhood

The first is victimhood. The more people who regard themselves as victims -- as individuals or as a group -- the more likely they are to commit evil. People who think of themselves as victims feel that, having been victimized, they are no longer bound by normal moral conventions -- especially the moral conventions of their alleged or real oppressors.

Everyone knows this is true. But few confront this truth. Every parent, for example, knows that the child who thinks of him or herself as a perpetual victim is the child most likely to cause and get into trouble. And criminologists report that nearly every murderer in prison thinks of himself as a victim.

On a societal scale, the same holds true -- and being on such a larger scale, the chances of real evil ensuing are exponentially increased. One of the most obvious examples is Germany after World War I. Most Germans regarded themselves as victims -- of the Treaty of Versailles; of a "stab in the back" German government; of the British, Americans and French; and, of course, of the Jews. This sense of victimhood was one of the most important factors in the popularity of the Nazis, who promised to restore German dignity.

That millions of black Americans regard themselves as victims -- probably more so today than at any time in the past 50 years -- can only lead to disaster for America generally and for blacks specifically. While victims generally feel free to lash out at others, they also go through life angry and unhappy.

No. 2: Demonization

The second of the four ingredients of this civilization-destroying witches' brew is demonization -- demonizing a group as inherently evil.

That is being done now with regard to the white people of America. All -- again, all -- whites are declared racist. The only difference among them is that some admit it and some deny it. The notion that whites are inherently evil has long been associated with Louis Farrakhan. But it has apparently migrated out from his relatively small following to many blacks, even those who might consider Farrakhan a kook. Former President Barack Obama, hardly a Farrakhan follower, described America as having racism in its DNA. That is as close to inherently and irredeemably evil as it gets; you cannot change your DNA.

In that sense, not only are whites demonized, but America is, too. Unlike traditional liberals, the left regards America as a moral cesspool -- not only racist but, according to The New York Times, founded to be so. The New York Times has created a history of America that declares its founding not in 1776 but in 1619, when the first black slaves arrived. The American Revolution was fought, according to this malign narrative, not merely for American independence but in order to preserve slavery, a practice the British would have interfered with. This "history" will now be taught in thousands of American schools.

The combination of victimhood and demonization alone is dangerous enough. But there are still two more horsemen galloping toward the looming apocalypse.

No. 3: A Cause To Believe In

Most Americans throughout American history found great meaning in being American and in being religious -- usually Christian. Since World War II, we have lived in a post-Christian, post-nationalist age. Until very recently, Americans would have found the expression "for God and country" deeply meaningful; that term today, on the left, is risible and execrable.

But people need something to believe in. The need for meaning is the greatest human need after the need for food. Leftism, with all its offshoots -- feminism, environmentalism, Black Lives Matter, antifa -- has filled that vacuum. In Europe, communism, fascism and Nazism filled the hole left by the demise of nationalism and Christianity. Here it is leftism and its offshoots.

No. 4: Lies

The fourth and most important ingredient necessary for evil is lies. Lies are the root of evil. Ironically, slavery itself was made possible only because of the lie that the black was inferior to the white. Nazism was made possible thanks to the lie that Jews were not fully human. And communism was built on lies. Lenin, the father of Soviet Communism, named the Soviet communist newspaper "Truth" ("Pravda") because truth was what the Communist Party said it was.

The New York Times, CNN and the rest of the mainstream "news" media are becoming our version of Pravda.
Objective truth doesn't exist on the left. The universities have already declared "objective truth" as essentially an expression of "white privilege." See what happens to a student who says in class, for example, that "men cannot give birth."

The public self-debasement demanded of anyone who differs with the left -- like New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees just did when he said not standing for the national anthem desecrated the flag and those who have died for it -- happens almost daily. The only difference between this and what dissidents underwent during Mao's Cultural Revolution is that the self-debasement here is voluntary -- thus far.

Last week, when this Jew saw a store in Santa Monica with a sign reading "black-owned business" so as to avoid being destroyed, it evoked chilling memories.

That's how bad it is in America today.

Canada: Federal Election — No One to Vote For?

"Toss Trudeau" says Conrad Black in today's NaPo: he's failed.

"Your vote is your voice," says Elizabeth May in a full front-page ad in Victoria's Times Colonist newspaper: meaning vote Green, then just shut up and I'll do the talking.

I'm running to win, says NDP leader, Jagmeet Singh, meaning I'll agree to anything for a cabinet post in a minority Trudeau government.

Don't know nuthin' 'bout hiring Kinsella to call Maxime Bernier and his People's Party of Canada a bunch of dirty racists, says Dimples Scheer. The CBC is naturally headlining this to smear the Tories, having themselves spent the election campaign  smearing Maxime Bernier as a far-right-wing racist (understandably since he very reasonably advocates defunding the CBC, LOL).

Might be better, really, to forget this festival of lies, insults, and drivel known as an election campaign and fill the House of Commons with a few hundred Canadians picked at random. They wouldn't know nuthin' about nuthin' no how. But where'd be the difference from the current crop of party leaders? Well, excepting Maxime Bernier, Leader of the People's Party of Canada who opposes the plans of his globalist opponents to diversify Canada with a greater per capita rate of immigration — both legal and otherwise — than any other country in the World. He, naturally, is abused by all and sundry and is lucky to have, according to the polls, even two percent of the populace in his support.

Quote of the Day, No. 79:

Matt Taibi:

Untitledgate: When I was 20, I studied at the Leningrad Polytechnical Institute, in the waning days of the Soviet empire. Most of the Russians I met were amusingly free of stress caused by following news. Why would they bother? Bull-factories like Rossiskaya Gazeta and Leningradsaya Pravda were basically collections of dreary government news releases rewritten to sound like news reports.

I saw newspapers in Leningrad shredded into slivers of toilet paper, used in place of curtains in dorm rooms, even stuffed into overcoat linings as insulation. But I can’t recall a Russian person actually reading a Soviet newspaper for the content. That’s how useless its “news” was.

We’re headed to a similar place. The cable networks, along with the New York Times and Washington Post increasingly act like house organs of the government, and in particular the intelligence agencies.

UK Backs off Russia Guilty of Nerve Agent Poisoning

Metro, April 4, 2018: The Foreign Office has deleted a tweet blaming Russia for the Salisbury attack after UK scientists announced they had not verified the source of the nerve agent used. The Government had posted a message online that stated the Kremlin was responsible. It said: ‘Analysis by world-leading experts at the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory at Porton Down made clear that this was a military-grade Novichok nerve agent produced in Russia.’ But yesterday Gary Aitkenhead, from the Government’s Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) at Porton Down, said the role of his lab was not to work out where the agent came from. He added the Government’s conclusion that it was highly likely to be Russian was based on ‘a number of other sources.’ The Foreign Office confirmed it had taken the tweet down because it had been an inaccurate summary of comments made by the UK’s ambassador to Russia.

Independent, April 4, 2018:

The inability of Porton Down to ascribe blame to Russia means that intelligence is now the key factor in the accusation against the Kremlin. And such overwhelming dependence on intelligence, most of it unknown to the public, has inevitably led to comparison with the fake intelligence which was used to justify the Iraq invasion.

It is also perhaps inevitable that Mr Johnson would be in the centre of the controversy. In an interview two weeks ago he had stated that Porton Down scientists were “absolutely categorical” that the novichok came from Russia: “I asked the guy myself, I said ‘are you sure?’ And he said ‘there’s no doubt’.”

But “the guy”, Gary Aitkenhead, the chief executive of the DSTL (Defence Science and Technology Laboratory) at Porton Down, was pretty clear that although the scientists had ascertained the agent was novichok, “we haven’t identified the precise source”.

The foreign secretary’s aides are insisting that he was misunderstood and his words have been taken out of context. But at the same time, the Russian embassy gleefully pointed out, the Foreign Office deleted a tweet from last month saying that Porton Down had established that the novichok used in the attack definitely came from Russia

It's Not The Crime, It's The Cover-Up:

Moon of Alabama, April 4, 2018: When a scandal breaks, the discovery of an attempt to cover up is often regarded as even more reprehensible than the original deeds.

The British government is trying to cover-up the lies it made with its false allegations against Russia. The cover-up necessitates new lies some of which we expose below.

Yesterday the head of the British chemical weapon laboratory in Porton Down stated that the laboratory can not establish that the poison used in the alleged 'Novichok' attack in Salisbury was produced by Russia. This was a severe blow to the British government allegations of Russian involvement in the poisoning of Sergej and Yulia Skripal.

Now the British government tries to hide that it said that the poison used in the Salisbury was 'produced in Russia' and that Porton down had proved that to be the case. The government aligned media are helping to stuff the government lies down the memory hole.

We all need to make sure that the new lies get exposed and that the attempts to change the record fail.

Yesterday the British Foreign Office deleted this from its Twitter account:

The March 22 tweet was part of a now interrupted thread which summarized a briefing on the UK government's response to the Salisbury incident given by the British Ambassador to Russia, Dr Laurie Bristow, to the international diplomatic community in Moscow.

After the silent scrubbing of the record was publicly questioned the Foreign Office admittedthat it deleted the tweet:
After it emerged on Wednesday that the tweet had been deleted, the Foreign Office said the post was removed because it "did not accurately report" the words of Laurie Bristow, the UK's ambassador to Russia, which the tweet was supposed to be quoting.

Trump: Trade Center Towers Came Down because Bush Ignored CIA's Warning; Iraq War Based on WMD Lies

February 13, 2016: The following is a transcript of exchanges between Donald Trump, JEB Bush and Marko Rubio during last night's Republican presidential candidates' debate in Greenville, S. Carolina. It may explain why Trump says he always carries a gun.

Founders of the New World Order, or the Banality of Evil
G.H.W. Bush (left) declared the New World Order. John Ellis
Bush (right) signed the Statement of Principles of the Project
for a New American Century (PNAC) , which declared the
necessity of a "new Pearl Harbor." G.W. Bush (center) ignored
CIA warning of Bin Laden's determination to strike the US and
used the 9/11 attacks, which he described as the Pearl Harbor
of the 21st Century, to justify the wars for American global
empire that PNAC called for. Image source.
Trump:

The war in Iraq was a big fat mistake. It took JEB Bush .... five days before his people told him what to say, and he ultimately said "It was a mistake."

The war in Iraq, we spent two trillion dollars, lost thousands of lives, we don't even have it, Iran is taking over Iraq with the second largest oil reserves in the World. Obviously it was a mistake. George Bush made a mistake. We can make mistakes, but that one is a beauty. We should never have been in Iraq. We have destabilized the Middle-East.

Moderator:

So yo still think he [George W. Bush] should be impeached?

Trump:

You do whatever you want. You call it whatever you want. I want to tell you, they lied. They said there were weapons of mass destruction, but there were none and they knew there were none. There were no weapons of mass destruction.

John Ellis Bush (JEB):

... I could care less about the insults that Donald Trump gives to me ... but I'm sick and tired of him going after my family. My dad is the greatest man alive, in my mind. While Donald Trump was building a reality TV show, my brother was building a security apparatus to keep us safe, and I'm proud of what he did. And he's had the gall to go after ...

Trump:

The World Trade Center came down during his brother's reign.

Bush:

He's had the gall to go after my mother.

Trump:

That's not keeping us safe.

Bush:

I won the lottery when I was born 63 years ago, looked up and saw my Mom. My Mom is the strongest woman I know.

Trump:

She should be running.

Rubio:

I thank God, all the time, that it was George W. Bush who was in the White House on 9/11 ... He kept us safe. No matter what you say about weapons of mass destruction, Saddam Hussein was in violation of UN resolutions, in open violation, and the World wouldn't do anything about it. And George W. Bush ... kept us safe, and I am forever grateful ...

Trump:

How did he keep us safe, when the World Trade Center ... [interruption by crowd]. The World, excuse me, I lost hundreds of friends, the World Trade Center came down during the reign of George Bush.

He kept us safe?

That's not safe. That is not safe.

Rubio:

The World Trade Center came down because Bill Clinton didn't kill Osama bin Laden when he had the chance to kill him.

Trump:

...  George Bush had the chance also, and he didn't listen to the advice of his CIA.

Alex Jones and Webster Tarpley: Propagating Looney Lies About the British Monarch

If you thought Dr. Webster Griffin Tarpley was a historian, think again.

In this video, Tarpley and Alex Jones compete to spout the most rubbish about the British Parliamentary system of government.

That was two years ago. Since then, they have learned nothing as this discussion arising out of the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton demonstrates.

According to these geniuses, Britain and 15 other countries nominally headed by Britain's constitutional monarch are, in reality as well as in name, largely ruled by the octogenarian great grandmother, Elizabeth Windsor, who Tarpley decribes as a degenerate, psychopathic, genocidal Nazi maniac.

Astounding. They cannot really be that stupid can they? But if not, what propaganda interest do they serve?

For the record (from Wikipedia):
